Haven't written in here in over a year. The site is
looking better than ever phobiazero, I'm very impressed.
I've been listening to RDJ for about 8 years now. I've been
in Southern California for all of my life. Trying to find
Richard's releases is like trying to find a circus midget at
a crowded football stadium. I have close to all of his CD
releases and am still searching. It's tough to find some
underground record stores in this area of Cali. You think
anyone will care about RDJ's release at locations like Tower
or Virgin? If not, then I'm going to frigin' special order
one if I have to. Most of the people here have no idea of
who Aphex Twin (let alone all of his other alias') is. I
know a custom sign designer and he pumps me out custom Aphex
Logos all the time. I have his logo on the center window of
my truck. Everyone looks at it, wondering what the hell it
is. I tell them they wouldn't understand. My girlfriend
hates his music, and that's just the way I like it.

i live about 200 miles from you (central cali) and i have
the same difficulty, NO ONE know who he is unless i stamp it
in their head.

just get drukqs from the net. i found it for $17 at
bn.com...

and if i see you truck, i\'ll steal the logo off of it....
or the truck.

I could have it much earlier than that probally. It just
depends how friendly you are with people at yr local indie
store.

I had rock action (Mogwai's recent disc) over a month before
it was released...

Just talk to people at your local record store, and ask
them... chain stores won't. HMV or Tower Records won't. But
those stores suck for the most part anyways.

yup yup.

I just replied to the title.. didn't even read the message.

You'll have to order those cd's for sure. It's rare to find
the rare ones in most stores... The good thing is when you
order them, the store sells it to you for the same price it
costs for them to order it. At least the one i go to does.
So because it may be an import or whatever, you wouldn't
have to pay that extra 20 bucks that stores like to charge.

Unless they're the japanese releases. Why the hell do they
always get 1 or 2 bonus tracks, and then the imports cost
$49.99?????

Hell yeah, I know what you mean. The stupid thing is, I
bought his singles collection for 50 bucks. Then another
store wanted Classics and SAWI for $50 as well. What the
hell, they trying to rip the public off? Those frigin'
bastards. I bought Classics and SAWI at regular CD prices,
I should go to those other stores and give them a swift kick
in the ass. By the way, the Tower Records by my place in
Laguna has killer electronica that no one carries anywhere.
My friend Yoshi hooks me up with shit before most of it
comes out. He orders it even though he isn't supposed
to...heh heh.
