who's watching, who's not, who cares?

i won't be cos i have to work, but i love watching to see
what outrageous outfits the ladies wear, and the pimpin'
outfits the men usually wear.......eheheheh

there might also be some good preformances to
watch.....coldplay are preforming with an orchestra =0)

anyway.....ever since milli vanilli i don't put much stock
in WHO wins the award, but it's still fun to watch and see
what funny odd things people say when they are under the
spotlight!

i'll be watching the grammy's on MUTE, except for the
coldplay/orchestra, eminem/the roots, and the clash tribute
performances. oh yea and album of the year (eminem? bruce
springsteen?) so i can get in a good hearty laugh when they
announce the winner....

Just took a look at the nominations, pretty much an
indictment of the abysmal state of popular music right now.

Quite how Coldplay can be considered 'alternative' is beyond
me. Anyway, I hope Vanessa Carlton wins stuff because I
think she's cute.

Her biggest song of the year was called A Thousand Miles,
the video had her sat at a piano singing/playing the song
while it was driven around on the back of a truck or
something. Shame it was the best thing on the album.

massive album as a whole-most listenable one
i find like two or three tracks from mezzanine, protection
and blue lines really awesome but as a whole i prefer 100th
window

i really liked 100th window......i listened to it twice in a
row and found it to be VERY solid. i dunno if i'd say it's
BETTER than mezzanine <----thats just outer limits IMO. but
it's not disappointing at all.....even the last 13 minute
bass line is FUN!!

what kind of pet.....do you have cat, dog, ferret? ehehheh

it took TWO listens for me to REALLY get into it, but it's
so bad ass.....however i wish they'd included more
songs....they had 60 instead of 13 minutes of bass......but
oh well

I agree--they're part of a new culture of tedium that's
coming from the UK - Coldplay, Travis, Badly Drawn Boy,
David Gray -- they bore me so much whenever they happen to
hijack my tv set, that they actually depress me.

they look weird, what was that guy trying to do with that
piano? :)

they sound just like another radiohead like band, pretty
boring too...

I thought it was quite pathetic that coldplay didn't come
out with any of the anti-war rhetoric that they came out
with at the Brits. Anti-war statements are OK if they
promote album sales are they, Chris? Oh, and they're shit as
well.

to be fair, CBS told all the performers and presenters NOT
to bring politics/the news up. the two people that broke
this rule are fred durst (how about that for irony? and we
all thought he was just a meathead... now he's a meathead
with a conscience) and sheryl crow (through her guitar
strap).

My whole point is that telling the british public that
you're against the war is like preaching to the converted.
Around 90% of the british public are against the war anyway,
so any anti-war statements can only be seen as a method of
boosting record sales. If, however they had the guts to make
an anti-war statement at the grammy's, they would have been
shown to be men of principles. Instead they have just shown
themselves to be little corporate whores.
