this has to be one of the prettiest, well playing, and
immersive RPG's that I've ever played, I've been playing
this game for only an hour and I can see it rivalling even
the almighty crono trigger, if you haven't played this game
yet, I make the friendly suggestion that you download some
SNES emulation and find this ROM,

:D

Testify! Why it wasn't released over here is a fucking
mystery.

But better than Chrono Trigger? Naaaahhh.

crono trigger pissed me off when I lost my level 70 crono,
ever since I've held that game in a little less regard, if
that hadn't happened I'd probably still love it to this day,
I just had a bad experience with it.

the original secret of mana was on the nintendo, the second
one was on the SNES, it was called seiken detsetsu 2 in
japan, and "secret of mana" in america, whihc means that the
SNES version of "secret of mana" is actually secret of mana
2, when they finally got around to releasing seiken detsetsu
3, they didn't bother to change the name,

so, yes, it is secret of mana 3, in a way

Actually, the first Secret of Mana was for Gameboy and
released outside of Japan as Final Fantasy Adventure.
