back to the roots of electronic music. I've been listening to too much of IDM lately. It's time for a kingston dub revival. This guy is amazing : he built all his amps and effects by himself ( The IDM superstars who claim so have yet to show us their work ) and started this experimental reggae movement called dub. Deep as reggae , innovative as musique concrete ( but I doubt that King Tubby ever heard of Pierre Schaeffer and the GRM at this time ) - precursor of the remix genre.
Check his best collaborations with Augustius Pablo ( godfather of the melodica ) anf the aggrovators. He produced so many songs I can't tell which one to start with.
