Achtung Baby- Best U2???

I just read that Achtung Baby was voted BEST U2
album...This was thru NME.
I would have to say I would choose "The Joshua Tree" over
Achtung...I mean its a close F-ing call, but I didnt think
that Achtung would blow away TJT like that...Crazy

What does everyone think?...Just curious what everyone would
choose?

U2 Poll

I'd rather have hardcore sex with a blender then allow that
shit to go into my ears. But as insulting as that probably
is to a band you admire it's only my opinion. I'll stick to
my Eiffel65 CDs I think. :)

Haven't got that one yet :-) Altough i do like all the
singles from Achtung Baby (the fly, mysterious ways, one).
One day i'll be buying it.

I do have the joshua tree which i like alot. "with or
without you" is just an unbelievable classic... goosebumps
every time.

POP is also a decent album. Took me awhile to get into, and
i think the 2 songs "staring at the sun" and "last night on
earth" are a boring 10 minutes. But otherwise very
interesting!

And the last one i've got is All that you can't leave
behind. Which i think gets worse each time i listen to it. I
loved it when i first got it, but it becomes boring after a
short while, and now i haven't heard it for months.

Yeah I agree...Its just a question...
I dont care what anyone thinks anyways, OLD U2 is
good....Grew up on it..:)

Nac: No way did you dissapoint me by saying POP...I love
hearing an HONEST offshoot answer like that, I wasnt
expecting that and thats good.

What is your FAV. track on there?...I know ALOT of cool
remixes came off of that album....

Although I never listen to them anymore, I'd take Achtung
Baby 1st, Pop 2nd, Joshua Tree 3rd.

All That You Leave Behind is the only U2 album I like.

Not that it's relevant, but 'Up' is the only REM album I
like.

I loved U2, then got bored, and now love them again... War
is an amazing album, that's the in question here...
sometimes I like The Joshua Tree more, sometimes Achtung...
and I love Pop as well, and Zooropa is real nice in my
opinion... love that song Daddy's Gonna Pay for Your Crashed
Car...

Zooropa is when I think they started losing it...I mean
theres more shite songs on that album than there are good
ones...

The live version of "40" from Under a Blood Red Sky gives me
the chills its so cool
