by Chuck Palahniuk
is a great read..his tightest book since Fight Club...the
way he effortessly veered into the
supernatural/fantasy/horror side of fiction was quite
impressive...to me it read a bit like vintage Clive Barker
doing Fight Club..but in general it reminded me lot of The
Great and Secret Show..

It definitely was a great book. And I agree, I think it was
tight as hell, you can see that he's refining his craft
while still keeping one foot in his past works.

I see what you mean about the Barker/Secret Show thing as
well, what with the society masking the truth by creating
religion in TGASS and the protagonists in Lullaby
doing something similar... I just loved the way the book
ended, it was a wonderful spin on all his other books.

Have you checked his site recently? He's got loads of stuff
coming out, it all sounds mad as fuck....
