Saw Pole live last night on my birthday in Munich.

Nice, gotta get some of his stuff now.
He was really into his music as he was moving to the strange
dubby bass sounds with his body, looked funny.
After the show he smoked a big fat cigar.

What does Pole sound like? I saw a card for him at my local
music shop.

pole souns like dub mixed with click-electronica. he is very
good- the other artists from the -scape records (pole's
label) are extremely interesting too- i luv peklers stuff-
click-dub-jazz thing. i would suggest buying one of the
-scape label compilations- there are three parts of it, it
is called steadetizism series. the first one is a bit dubby
the second jazzy and the third one hiphoppy (?) or i should
say clickhoppy :P

im not good at describing an artist's sound, so here's a
paste from allmusic.com:

"... complex, intricate rhythms from the crisp analog haze,
layering rich, ghosted melodies over multitracked tape hiss
and a barrage of syncopated skips and stutters."

dont know if this gives you a good idea.

I saw him at the WMF in Berlin half a your ago. I had all
his records before but I was stunned how danceable the set
was. He really stands out. If you like his music you should
ceck out the deadbeats new album.

yeah, it was really danceable, I've got to get some of the
scape records, like, NOW.

I own 1,2 & 3 plus the R record and the yellow 12". I my
opinion 3 rules all but 2 is nice as well. R has that
awesome Kit Clayton Remixes. I dont really dig 1. Dont know
why.

There is a 12" for every release (1-3) with the same colour.
The yellow one I have has Rondell 1 & 2 on it.

Oh they do ! "Rondell Eins" is an exclusive track. I dont
know about the others. I dont think "KiffSM" has a
labelhomepage.
