Anyone else here into classics? Frankly, I think it's great--very interesting stuff that doesn't get much attention. :|

Also, does it strike anyone as having a timeless quality to it? Tracks like analogue bubblebath and phloam, and tamphex are perfect 10's.

it's great album. it has some standout tracks, and those are the ones who are among his best work, truly classics:
digeridoo, polynomial-c, analogue bubblebath 1, isopropanol, dodeccaheedron

'polynomial c' is one of my favourite aphex tracks ever. simple, beautiful and melancholic. In fact I think I'll listen to it right away...

definately one of my fave aphex albums because of the nostalga it triggers
polynomial c and metapharstic are great, the latter because of the images of a warehouse rave that come to mind where they are playing music far too loud for the sound system to handle and the speakers are going into meltdown and squleching

It's the first album I bought of mr. James and I still play it quite a lot. If I hadn't bought it, I'd wear sleak design jeans and probably a lot of hairwax along with a gold necklace and a slightly tilted baseballcap.
I would have been a R'n'B victim if it wasn't for 7\phex!

yea, some of the first aphex i'd heard... after ICBYD. i remember hearing it over the summer a while back... i must have been about 10 or 11, come to think of it.... i really liked analogue bubblebath at the time
and then i saw it in a record store in spain at a cheap price, and i just had to buy it... although i agree, it seams so amature and cheesy now...
