I think 'Billious' has advantages over other drill/heavily effected beat records such as Drukqs, Astrobotnia Parts 1-3 etc etc. It is much more groovier. There is definitely more adherence to the groove. |

merg, Yeah I'd broadly agree with that. Of course 'Billious' is a totally different project. Its really the ongoing competition between various producers to outdo each other as to how clever and complex they can be with their beats. Not that I'm complaining, its just one of the underlining threads which goes throughout a lot of current music. |
