this town in inherently unsafe for them but after cycling
15 years i sort of know the good places to lock a bike. OR
thought i did! Plus i had a fucking great lock too. It seems
all these cunts need is time and passer-by apathy. Wasn´t
even my bike! i was minding it for a mate gone to New
Zealenad to climb mountains..
ARGGGGHHHH

Keys: Sorry to hear that mate- it is worth reporting to the
police. They do occasionally recover them. I feel for you
man.

it was a mountain bike.. a beauty - perfect for crusing
through city traffic to Squarepusher.
Vincent Vega was right. Another irony is i stopped a guy
robbing a strangers bike the other week as i was unlocking
mione... just my shouting at him "FUCKING LEAVE IT!"

Sorry to hear about that. I had my bike stolen a few years
back, from my locked garage. The guy broke into the garage,
slipped past the car and removed just my bike. Grrr.

*commiserates with keyfumbler*

cheers recycle but in this town, stolen bikes are thrown
right into a well established strip n refit operation. the
bike is gone and the cops woun´t help if i don´t know the
serial number or had it tagged in some way.

Shit... it was my only "ride" this valentines day!!!!

I feel for you brother. Bikes are one of humankinds best
inventions. A loss for you, a loss for us all.
Chances are you will never see it again.
I had two bikes stolen within a month once, it fucking hurt.

when I moved house I lost my bike keys!

I borrowed an angle grinder from a colleague and it cut
through the lock in less than a minute!!

MORAL OF THE STORY: do not spend loads on a lock. my one was
£50 and broken in less than a minute. Motorbike locks are
tougher but huge and heavy.
Leave your bike indoors if at all possible
