i just tried to start a philosophical and intelligent conversation in a chatroom about a post i put up in here titled Selfishness, and they're condemning me for "saying stuff like that in public" what the FUCK? |

People have a hard time getting over themselves, and opening up to exploring their actual "lives". I've gotten used to it at this point. It's way to easy / instantly gratifying for people to insult you as a means of making them selves feel better or superior. I say Ignore it. And continue your own persuit for personal growth. You'll eventually find more people out there that aren't total wanks! |

yeah but the thing is, that i am derrived from chatrooms that was my first experience of communication over the internet, and i have been activy using chatrooms for 7 years i'm not dumb, am i? at least i hope not |

Yes you are. Chatrooms are a waste of time and exsistance, the only reason I come here is because you can choose what to discuss, and this is the only P2P type thing that I belong to/join. |

well my first chat room was (yes, i know) an x-files chat room www.seds.org/~spooky/chat then i moved on to excite chat then i moved onto www.chathouse.com and that's the one i use most recently |

I;m sorry but it was necessary. Think about it though, why waste your time talking to people online? Most of the time they're lying about themselves anyway. People should concentrate more on their own life in "reality" as opposed to sitting at their pc getting fat in this "Fantasy world" Go outside people, it's good for you. |

Yeah see this is good for many reasons : 1) You can choose what you want to talk about. No spam. 2)Learn about music ( and other valube info) 3)You don't have to sit and stare at the monitor waiitng for a response. |

well, you can get spam....people can put up silly posts (and i know, you don't have to read them) but someone can post a silly reply in your thread i definately agree with you on point 2 but i disagree with point three sometimes i'm sat here for 20 mins waiting for a response! |

Well yeah....there's some spam, but the fact that you can choose what topic you would like to talk about is nice. And on 3, well I mean like you can Start a topic and leave for the day, come back and it's right there waiting for you. Anyway, I'm kind of tired about talking about this. chat rooms SUCK. i trried to go in one about 2 days ago against my betterr judgement and i was shot out forr shouting (how everr the fuck i could manage that without even opening my mouth) then i re-eneterred and having been brrandished a frreak (this little message saying i was a frreak kept popping up) bunch of wankerrs. |
