i recently purchased substance, made in germany in 1992
with a yellow exclamation mark sticker on it, with a cover
different than the version of substance that you find
everywhere on the internet. bah. anyway, what does everyone
think of new order? i'm guessing they have a 'substance'
album too. i need recommendations over here.

i didn't make the title 'new order' just in case people want
to talk about joy division, since the search engine for this
site is garbage.

yeah it doesn't seem to search topic titles, just whats
within them, and then its still a bit sketchy, but I spose
this a temp mb "for surviving purposes"

Yeah ive got new orders substance, tis alright, some of the
songs are cheesily dated though, but i do like blue
monday/the beach and temptation.Their last album "get ready"
was pretty good, worth d/l :D .......and of course their song
confusion.
The only other album ive got of theirs is power, corruption &
lies,which is ok.

Yeah, New Order has aged kind of strangely... they sound
dated in a way, but they still sound ''cool''. Like Blue
Monday obviously uses really retro sounds, but it still
sounds badass.

I really wonder what they would have done if Curtis hadn't
been a silly fool and hanged himself... some of Joy
Division's stuff hints at New Order's sound, but it's still
a big change... other than Movement, which at times sound
sooo much like Joy Division. Quite a bit darker and less
electronic.
