it was shit on the first listen..it became slightly less shit on the 2nd listen, but still shit enough i decided not to have a 3rd listen (yet). and this was a month ago, so it doesn't look good for now. |

air is (was) one of my favourite bands, but this album is just bad silly..i thought that darqel one was as lame as they can go, but apperantly i was wrong :( |

it sounds like talkie walkie with all the interesting parts liposuctioned out of it. whatever was in air that made them infinitely more enjoyable than elevator music is now gone. |

not more of the same. just much much less of what made talkie walkie a good album that you might still put on after a few years. pocket symphony's songs don't have any kind of drive or hooks, there's no moments of greatness here. Every track is washed out with sloppy attempts at making a quiet low-key night album and basically turns to wallpaper, but not the mood creating kind of brian eno or william basinski wallpaper. |

Well, if you're pissed off at Air, check out Sebastien Tellier. He's on the same label I think, and sort of has similar music--except I think he's much better. |

sounds like a parody of air. what a shame, i love air but they've certainly lost their edge. just chuck premiers symptomes on or moon safari and let all the pain of their new album float away.. |

i refuse to believe that this is air. it's like someone who has no feeling of airs songwriting tried to sound like air but lost 'it' in translation. mer du japon is the best one on the album however, something i would actually want to listen to twice. terribly disappointing none the less. |

im getting a bit sad...mer du japon is the worst track on it except for track 5 Mayfair song... track 1,2,4,6,7,8,9,11 is all very nice AIR material, whats wrong with your taste dudes and dudettes? have to get that album with the french singer that AIR produced. that Darkel album was a bit so so tho. |

we're all different mate, but i didn't like most of the melodies/ideas.. felt empty and like they just went on forever with no real hooks or satisfactory climaxes/endings. |

I think it's nice and relaxing and kinda romantic too, but Talkie Walkie is still my favourite Air album. |
