I see no one has mentioned Ziggomatic v17.

What the hell is wrong with you people?!

I mentioned it, for it's potential though... ..for awhile I
didnt see why you would single that out as his best. I see
it now though, particularly because of the closing melody
among other things. but for me it seems a bit unfocused,
broken and doesn't really stand out (like most electronic
compositions on drukqs- they all seem to be cut from the
same cloth as far as rhythm and drum programming are
concerned) as a truly great accomplishment in his recording
career.

sm pennysworth, your thoughts?..

These are all ridiculous replies. The best song is obviously
Polynomial-C. Maybe you guys haven't heard it since you all
got into afx 2 years ago.

what's with the lack of surfing on sine waves? Anyway
quixote is nice, as is the untitled track (7), supremacy.

schottkey 7th path is nice; pancake lizard ..
dodeccahedron.. cordialotron ..

Ive thought about this a lot, and although there are many to
choose from I must opt for Vordhosbn. I shall never forget
the 1st time I heard it for the fact that it mesmerized me.
And looking on it now I reckon that it contains every great
Aphex element; fast & slow with a devastating melody, it it
is mind blowing to conceive it's construction. For me this
song is RDJ's peek, and I doubt he could produce anything
that would impress or move me more.

I don't know why people always say Stone in Focus is so
great; I find it really dull. My least favorite track on
SAWII

I think windowlicker is a good choice, along with 4 and
girl/boy. And come to daddy too.

rdj set the bar.

he's a fucking master. really.

a lot of his stuff sounds pretty damn dated now, but
honestly, even the not-so memorable tracks are awefully
goddamn good. there's an attention to detail in his tracks
that i don't hear much of now. granted, i'm certainly no
expert.

Oh, yeah, the problem with these two songs is that they are
unique. No influences. Masterpieces.

Laughable Butane Bob. It's such a happy tune. I had the
melody playing in my head for years before I found out who
(and what track) it was.
