purchasing.

I would be more enthusiatic about it, though, if "at the
heart of it all," which sounds like a jerry bruckheimer
score, was replaced with "richard's hairpiece" which I think
is his best remix.. and anyone who has heard the
"windowlicker" remix knows it's no real reason to throw down
cash for this if u already own/have heard all the remixes.
the other track exclusive to this collection is a remix of I
believe "[radiator]" from SAW2.. which I happen to think is
one of his absolute worst tracks ever.

c probably...

if it is radiator, it's probably the track he did on the 95
peel session

i will probably listen to clips from amazon.com and the warp
site first, because something tells me that some of the
original songs are pretty cheesy.

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2003-02-09 19:22 [#00548189]

well he said in an interview "whats the point of doing the
remix if the original is good"
so they're prolly all kind of cheesy :)

smoking bandits that release these things, but you have the
pleasureof the tunes. not on a dodgy burnt copy ;)

there was a topic a while back that had statistics of how
much "IDM" artists sell, unit wise, worldwide. tiny numbers.
that was more encouragement for me to buy their albums.
apparently i'm one of ten people in the US who own the
boards of canada peel session.

if its cd only warp can fuck off, i'll d/l it. if they can't
be bothered to run off a vinyl copy i can't be bothered to
buy it. i'll save my pennies for the new rephlex vinyl
instead, richard will still get his cut and everyone will be
happy.

see, i think those "idm" statistics are slanted, because i
personally know of at least 6 or 7 copies or rdj album that
have been purchased by people that i know in harrisburg, pa.
