i've seen it while awake =/

In all of us, even in good men, there is a lawless
wild-beast nature, which peers out in sleep.

-Socrates, philosopher (469?-399 BCE)

I say embrace that wild-beast nature, mine peers out all the
time awake and asleep.

unfit, to do the unnecessary." - Anonymous

yeah, in philosophy there's three kinds of soul: the man
(thinker), the dog (the beast), and the lion (i can't
remember exactly. pride i believe), and each part of the
soul keeps the others in check, if i'm not mistaken...

those distinctions are all useful to a certain extent, but
the boundaries are of course artificial. just like the
buddhist distinction of states of consiousness/enlightenment
or lack there of. in truth these states and parts of soul
are not separate, no boundary, just a continuum.

How about the 4 voices within: The old lady, the gay guy,
the biker, and the japanese man ?

like the divisions we call NATIONS - totally artificial. I
wouldn't have them!

yes........no.......maybe!!

i think your subconscious comes out during the dream state,
i mean jung and freud wrote a lot about it so there must be
SOMETHING to it. =0)

i've not read much about Gestalt therapy, but it sounds
interesting! the whole self awareness and changing and
becoming more aware of your potential to discover and change
parts of yourself.

sounds like a useful learning experience!

i didn't think there was any doubt that your deams take root
in the realms of the subconscious, like things floating to
the surface, or taking your minds eye into the depths.

is not everything not currently in your awareness a part of
your subconscious, at some depth?

gestalt... isn't that something like all containing... or
something to do with all together? am i close? vagner
coined a term in german, can't remember what it was, but it
means total art experience, sound visual everything... kinda
like opera to the next level. the term had the word gestalt
in it i think.
