i've got 'confield', containing 10th track called 'mcr
quarter'. it's sounds like live perfomance...
if anybody know something about this track - tell me...

I think it's the japanese bonus track - my mp3 say so.

str_ph
can you tell me, what exactly says your mp3?

ae should stop playing with our emotions like that and give
us all a bonus track, why do the japanses always get them?

I'd just like to point out that '@' means "at", so the topic
title for this would be "track #10 at confield", which
gramatically doesn't make any sense.

mcr quarter is a track they did live in Manchester
(England). You can get the rest of the gig online in mp3
fairly easily and it's all as bad as that track - really
muddy and muffled. They just tacked in on the end of the
album for the Japanese version for some reason which escapes
me.

Indeed. I forgot to go ':p' at the end of the first
paragraph there

Hahaha! In all your grammatical pedantry you have neglected
to spell "grammatically" correctly! Poo to you, sir!

Curses and naughty-words.

I also managed to type "in" instead of "it" at the end
there.

I forgot to 'go'? you forgot to 'type' or to 'say', not to
go!

xceque
thank you for pointing out my errors... i'm trying to write
without errors
but... english isn't my native language, so... sorry
by the way... where i can download ae mp3s?

No, I intended to type 'go', so I didn't forget to say
'type' or go 'say'. It was an attempt to write in the manner
which I would speak.
ie, complete bollocks

one more question [this time about tri repetae]:
on a cover of my cd there's a strange device...
i want to know, have you seen tri repetae with such
cover?..
xceque: sorry for errors i've probably made in this
message...

Is it a slightly green-hued "device" on a white background?
If so, someone's just changed around the order of the three
cards (I hope you know what I'm talking about here).

Peter File:
yeah, you are right, but i'm not sure that i know what
you're talking about here...
what 'three cards'?...

there should be 3 cards inside the original tri repetae
release, the cover is olive but the cards can be used as
alternative covers.....

Bob Mcbob:
cool... 'original tri repetae release'... i can only dream
about something like this...

sounds like u already have it...the rerelease has a ++ on
it, and a bunch of old tracks, and apparantly a different
cover...

offline _user from rostov-on-don (Russia) on 2003-02-05 17:11 [#00542588]
Points: 1260 Status: Regular

bob mcbob:
yeah, i have it... it's not a tri repetae++, it hasn't any
cards in it...
you know, in rostov, where i live, the only way to get
official /licensed/ cd is through the i-net, while 'pirat'
cd cost about $2.5 /if you'll find release you want to get/

offline Bob Mcbob on 2003-02-05 17:19 [#00542596]

are you sure you dont have an olive cover under the 'strange
device' card?

offline _user from rostov-on-don (Russia) on 2003-02-05 17:24 [#00542608]

bob mcbob:
well....may be it's olive....i'm not sure....but what is
'card'?

offline Bob Mcbob on 2003-02-05 17:31 [#00542621]
Points: 9939 Status: Regular

its the same size as the cover and made of the same
material, just its loose....there should be 3 but its
understandable if some are lost....perhpas i was meant to
have 4 and i lost one :S

oops my mistake the cover is a card itself, turn it over and
see...

bob mcbob:
no...the reverse of the cover seems to be olive [i'm not
sure], but i haven't any cards...and on the cover leterel is
missing, but it 'exist' on the disc...

it's not muddy and muffled, it's relatively good compared to
some other custom live recordings...

The sizes of the tracks may differ up to 2kb (sometimes
more) due to tagging differences.

all dates: Month/Day/Year (i hope)

Live @ Coachella 10/10/99
12+6 files
or in two files
(Ae live @ coachella Disc 1, .... Disc 2)

-------------------------------------------------------

this file is just a 47kbps Version of the 2000 bootleg
length 46:30

Other Live performances:

Autechre Live @ Manchester 13.04.01

track #5 of this bootleg also comes as
"Autechre Live in Manchester" and is the same as
MCR Quarter, the bonus track on the japanese release of
Confield
(Mcr Quarter has a short fade-in)

-------------------------------------------------------
the most ambigous one comes in many versions, i haven't
found out
which one is accurate:

Autechre Live @ New York ('98 or '99)
Autechre Live @ 10 degrees 10/03/2000
11 files, (1st one: 15sec)
#5 is a great live mix of draun quarter

Other versions only consist of one big file (but the same
music
as the 11files version):
Autechre Live @ Vancouver
Aphex Twin + Autechre live @ Vancouver
(71MB or 69 MB version, both VBR)
the latter one can be considered as a hoax since there is
no single aphex track in them
