a hotrodded acoustic guitar sounds ghastly yet intriguing..

I mean the idea of it..the guitar itself should sound fine
as long as you take C738s advice..

well, the paint could modulate the resonance maybe?

it could affect the sound

spraypaint is generally a very thin coat..
the difference would be marginal and hopefully not ghastly..

ahhh i see

well, even if it does modulate it

it might be advantagous
;)

should I take off the allready existing layer of paint?
should I use a primer? should I simply spraypaint over the
allready existing paint?

a refinishing link.

you should really know what you're doing before you do it...

Thanks kaimo!! I didn't know it was called refinishing.

Now I guess I will have to do a fine job instead of just
throwing the paint :(
