uh....donno...the seconds gaps are often controlled in the program... If you play tracks i.e. Winamp, and you wan't less gaps, just do a little ajustment on the autocrossfader (I only know it works in winamp 2.x). Any way, set the crossfade to 333 or more, and the fading will erase the gaps. What's your CPU? cuz I had some problems with my 350Mhz |

well, I got this cleared up.. and the mp3 files werent like songs from my collection that I listened to.. they were like breaks and rhythm templates that I needed for some tracks I was working on.. this added silence (despite it's minutae) would eventually throw the rhythm off COMPLETELY.. ruining the track.. I found a way to get rid of it in an option buried away in a preferences tab.. but to play it safe I've been saving these files as windows pcm |

don't use mp3s for audio work. use wav files, since although bigger in size, they are easier to edit and have much better quality. also more programs will accept the file format...if they are downloaded mp3 breaks, play them in winamp as mp3 but set the output to discwriter(or something similar) to write .wav.....or use any other programs you are happy using to do the conversion. |
