I've never seen any evidence that anyone's ever gotten it to
work. The problem doesn't seem to be with pyslsk, but the
libraries required to run it. They don't work on Mac OS X.

It seems to be just a big tease. Try SoulseekX instead.

The development status is "pre-alpha" so a lot of
functionality will be missing. At this point you should just
be glad it doesn't reboot your computer randomly while
playing "Macarena" in the background.

Run Soulseek in Virtual PC, that's the only way I've gotten
it to run in OSX.
