Right, after actually ploughing my way through every post in
this nightmare thread it seems pretty clear to me that Luke
is doing his best to sort out a personal problem and the
fact that he chose to do it here should really be seen as
'it's the only alternative he had' not 'christ what a limp
pansy taking over the feckin board'.

Provided the subject of a topic isn't offensive or a
complete flame war or utterly pointless etc, anyone can post
anything they feel like. The mods are here to decide what
falls into what category. And if anyone found this thread
(at least the first few posts in it before it got mental)
genuinely offensive perhaps they should work out some
of their own problems.

And I'm not just 'leaping to the defense of the underdog' or
some psych shit like that, so don't even start with that.

Of course, this sort of message should have been in
private, but it would appear that Luke had no choice. He
didn't want to talk about it in public, just arrange a
private conversation. People here really should be ashamed
of themselves for coming down on Luke so hard simply because
of what you perceive as his inadequacies.

Obviously any offense at a reply made by luke should be
treated with understanding as he's clearly upset, and who
hasn't said stuff they regret when upset? There's no reason
to let this turn into a big old hate-Luke session. Grow up,
eh?

Nuff said.
