im getting a guitar soon and i wanted to know what would be
best for making and sampling jumpy guitar riffs like

its really a decision of what kind...bass or standard
electric..i dont know which would be more fun to mess around
with on my computer

but i like some of the sounds radiohead ends up with when
they use so many distortion pedals and such on a normal
electric..what kind of bass would u recommend?

playing a stand up bass is much harder (I think) to master.
go with the guitar, musically, melodically, more is possible
w/ it, it's more accessable than a stand up. I'm guessing
you have no intentions of trying to join the oscar peterson
trio anytime soon, and if you're looking for a sound similar
to sqpsher (like "theme from squarepusher" or soemthing) go
w/ a guitar.. even if u prefer bass go w/ a 4-string
electric... stand-up is for far more experienced players I
would imagine.
