Some stylish addidas sports watch. Bloody weak though,
always breaking down/getting scratched. Nice blue G-shock
style light.

I draw one on my arm in pen but I have to change the time
every five minutes and it means washing off the old hands
but after doing that all the time it hurts so I just leave
the old hands there but that means you have lots of hands on
your arm and you can't tell the time anymore so I just go
out and kill people instead

I got a lovely amadeus watch from bid-up.tv. It was
retailing at £459.99 but I managed to get it for - guess ?
£30. So now I go around and tell everyone I've got an
expensive watch and I'm telling the truth. Isn't bid-up.tv
great?

I haven't worn a watch for about 3 years now. I used to have
a Casio DBC-62 "Data Bank" with a calculator and phone book
and schedule alarms and stuff but the strap broke and I
replaced it with three rubber bands, then the battery went
and I couldn't be bothered to replace either properly. I
didn't really use it much cos when I go places I take my
phone which has a clock and a calculator and a phone book on
it anyway.

Bid up TV is great. I can't believe how many hours I should
of spent on university work watching that. I love the petty
bitching between the female presenters. Especially when the
older ones get upstaged by younger, more attractive ones.
This was parodyed so well in the grat send up of shopping
channels, "Unnovations".

I only wear a watch when I'm going somewhere that involves
bus or train travel.

Not sure what make it is, but it cost about £5.

All pretty pointless info really!

it's very 80s software tycoon-like, not that they had them
then i don't think. well anyway none of this made sense.
time to go to work. bye bye

My IT teacher (who was in his 20s) had his grandfather's
pocket watch as his watch. It was a bit like the one from
Pulp Fiction.

a friend of mine has an old pocket watch too ^^
if you opened it from the front you could get the time, and
if you opened if from behind, there was a mirror he removed
so that he could insert little documents and stuff in it.

I'm like morton. Having a watch totally freaks me out. I
keep looking at it every five minutes. And then when i've
looked i think: "is it really 15:27? did i look
carefully enough? i'd better check again...".

Pretty soon my whole day starts to revolve around time, and
i start measuring how long it takes me to do certain things
etc. etc.. I don't know what it is about constantly having
the time on your wrist... but i can't handle it!

However to stop wearing it was even more difficult... my
wrist felt so naked without a watch... and i kept
automatically looking at my wrist. It actually took me alot
of discipline to not wear a watch. But now that i'm
watch-free, i feel liberated ;-)
