I have not read it yet Corn, I plan too soon...But you
REALLY liked Insomnia...Man I thought King started that book
with SUCH a cool story than it just slowly developed into a
OLD GERIATRIC love story....
I was VERY dissapointed.

Just wonderin...=)

I want the world to feel me... I want to feel significant,
but my attemps always seem obsolete... what can I do to
really make a difference, but do I really want to make a
difference?.... I feel that good old fashion human
experience is the only way to satisfy this droning need I
feel inside me, but should I just go strait out and tell her
how I feel or what the fuck man?!?

I read it. I'm a big King fan.

I thought it was utter, utter shit.

yeah, Dreamcatcher is a really amazing story that drew me in
from the beginning.... i've never read a book of over 800
pages so fast, it's an amazing and inspiring story, though
it king of drags on, its still a great book... the first
half of it is some of the most intense reading I've ever
done, i suggest listening to Autecher, either Amber or
Ciastic Slide during the long sequence when the shit is
starting to develop in the cabin.... I think I was listening
to track 5 I think it was on Chiastic when the shit started
to hit the fan, very fucking creepy

Yeah I don't mean to offend you, but if you think
'Dreamcatcher' is better than 'The Green Mile', 'Wizard And
Glass' or even 'Hearts In Atlantis', 'Black House' and 'The
Plant', then you need to hold back on the acid ;)
'Insomnia' I agree though was fantastic.

Jonesy heard some of this- certainly he heard the amplified
voice from the Thunderbolt helicopter- but registered very
little. He was too concerened with McCarthy, who had given
a number of small and breathless screams, then fallen
silent. The stench coming under the door continued to
thicken.

"McCarthy!" he yelled as Beaver came back in.
"Open the door or we'll break it down!"
"Get away from me!" McCarthy screamed in a thrill,
distracted voice. "I have to shit, thats all, I HAVE TO
SHIT! If I can shit I'll be all right!"

Stop reminding me of how painful it was to read this
book.... ;)

The movie will probably suck arse as well, even if Jason Lee
is in it.

And frankly sir, the Pennywise reference was ridiculous.
Roll on Wolves of the Calla I say.

yeah, the book drug on way too long, but I still liked the
story and the genuine feelings it gave me... the first half
of the book was much better that the second half I must say,
it kept me on the edge.... but the ending was a little bit
of a let down

The second half was daft as fuck... why on earth it went on
so long I have no idea. And it really limped towards it's
climax... I dunno, it was kind of a mash of two ideas (the
"gifted retard" and the "alien invasion") which just didn't
work for me.
