Hey dudes, finished this new track took bloody forever for mp3.com.au to verify and release it, but it's finally up Basically this is the most complicated song I've ever done. Total drill n bass, man. I would really appreciate some feedback and stuff coz I worked real hard on it and it took bloody forever..... (note: no patterns repeat except hooks and some riffs and basslines) Track is called Southside Suicide, named after all the shit that went down south of the swanny river on oz day Located at www.mp3.com.au/orangedust |

very nice stuff, good chopped loops, nice phase effects and the reverse instruments are short and good. some 808/909 drums in it ? the melody sounds like from a theater .... good stuff. |

Sadist - offa the top of my head somewhere around 190bpm, chizz!! Sepix - fanx! Keyfumbler - keep on truckin'!! :) map - Yeah I'm into the kind of dreamy/merry go round/curcus kind of melodies sometimes, I didn't realise that until rtecently though hehe :) And yeah that's an 808 little back beat going spastic in the background for a little bit. I put a dub delay over it and messed with the speed and feed amount, but it doesn't show up much.... ToeJam - I only really started collecting IDM CDs in earnest recently. But I think between the two of us, myself and MDX have most of the best IDM releases (I have most of the afx stuff and bits n pieces of other artists I haven't heard much of, and he has liek almost every autechre CD and BoC and stuff....) thanks dudes!!!!! |

I've bene doing it for about....5 or 7 years or something. Since about year 8 or nine (early highschool) two of my mates and I started messing around making tryhard fatboy slim tunes on Fruityloops 1.4 and they gave up and i'm still hanging around (now on version 3.4), messing up people's computer spoeakers every so often and stuff. Shit. I actually can't seem to stop listening to this. The floops synth don't do it for me normally but you made it work here. I didn't really dig your other stuff but this fucking kicks. Sounds like a ZX Spectrum in places and it's nice and fast. :) Gah! It's fuckin mint man! Too much praise is bad but I really do like this man. |
