Yes, for most tracks I convert to wav then trim to size and
do other post production stuff before converting it to a
wav.

Basically each coloured block on the playlist represents
time on the x axis (horizontal) against pattern no. on the y
axis (vertical) click the appropriate patterns in the order
you want them to be played...

Key: "-" is mute, "x" is play. In fruity loops clickig the
boxes (filling them with a coloured square) means they are
to be played.

Hope that helps.

Pattern 1 --------------
Pattern 2 --------------
Pattern 3 --------------

In the above example, none of them would play.

Pattern 1 XX-----------
Pattern 2 ---X----------
Pattern 3 -----X--------

In this one. 1 would play twice, then 2, then 3

no offense m8, but play around it with it and you will
figure it out, it is 100% intuitive.

to really give you an answer, next to the "PLAY" button,
click on Song, not PAT.........

instead of having "pattern" selected right near your play
button... select "song"

in order for "song" mode to work, you have to have boxes
filled in...

evils of what he is doing.
