In the past 2 weeks or so I beat (on NES- not roms): double dragon (those moving walls are the hardest part) mega man 1 mega man 2 mega man 3 mega man 4 1/2 way through mega man 5 (this is my favorite of the megaman's.... or er, megamen, funwise)
about 1/4 through gargoyle's quest 2 (great classicalish music and funny japanese or whatever grammar converted awkwardly to english)
hmm, I probably played some other ones but I was too high on the drug of nintendo to remember now.

I don't know how recently c++ or c was created so I wonder if something like double dragon was written in c++... and I wonder how long it would take for one individual to create a unique game as simple as double dragon nowadays.

I recently beat Half-Life. That's one of the most boring games I've ever played.

It is indeed. I hate Half-life. Try Soldier Of Fortune II. The multiplayer is awesome.

Will do, I'm in a FPS mood lately. Also just beat Red Faction 1, which was pretty fun. Curious about the sequel.

I have the gyromite cartridge, but not the robot- I bought my first NES 2nd hand, and the guy had broken the robot and thrown it out.
w M W: I didn't know Gargoyle's quest 2 was on the NES- I thought that one ws GB only. I completed Gargoyles Quest 1 (which I then swapped for Gauntlet 2).
I'm working through Solar Jetman at the moment and also Battletoads.

I still have my Super Scope Six!
I love pre-Playstation ('96) video games so much. And post-96... but not so much.
