i just started using this thing cuz i'm nuts about Draft 7.30 and want to know all news i can possibly know from now to the release date. i'm 19 and i live in Canada and i can't get my avatar to work. |

I am probably considered a newbie too. I enjoy walking on the sun, and watching the beach set...er... I'm a visual artist: have made a few unofficial music vids including one for Coldplay that I'm proud of, one for Autechre that I'm not as happy with, a short film with people talking to each other and walking and occasionally sitting. I make pictures too. I've attempted to make music, and have three very horrible tracks to my name. I'm a huge fan of the techre, BofCanada, rdj, brothomstates, etc. Found Autechre by way of Thom Yorke (don't throw eggs at me, please) and... well, that's enough said for now. |

a n00b report: i'm crazy about aphex twin. i honestly think he's a genius and his work ethic inspires me. when drukqs came out, he sort of came back on my radar and i began to collect his stuff in earnest. i just picked up 'mike & rich' yesterday and it's pretty sweet. i'm also getting into autechre and squarepusher now. i live in new york city; i'm a writer/actor/moviemaker--if any of you musicians would be interested in letting me make a music video for one of your tracks, lemme know. thanks for the welcome! dan |
