many times both go together (autechre)
but sometimes I see cds with artworks that I would have never associated with the kind of music they have...
examples:
no protection (protection by massive attack remixed by mad professor) I would have never imagined the kind of music of that album (if I didnt know massive attack) by its cover artwork
in sides - please where is the relation between cover and music here????
this happens to you?

I feel the same way. I feel that the artwork in OK Computer is perfect for the music, as an example. Plus it stands alone on its own.
can't think of any right now that don't go together. Insides is very crazy artwork, and the music is pretty chaotic too. But i was never a fan of the cover.
