hey im off to get a new skateboard, on this cold and snow looking day,

babyland - http://www.babyland.info - new EP out. not a lot
of tracks but I've heard it's really good. babyland are a
really good band... 'electronic junk punk' by their own
description. possibly the first, or at least one of the
first to inhabit the sound that became known as coldwave...
and they're pretty much better than everyone in that genre.
unfair to pigeonhole them there, though. their live shows
are supposed to be phenomenal... lots of crazy shit done
with sheet metal and chainsaws and whatnot... a real
peformance. and that be all i know. oh and -
