c'mon, Autechre kicks their ass all over the place.........

well I've not listened to much FSOL
so I really can't say but I've listened to a bit of the new
lp and didn't care for it.

I've heard that it's not very true to their sound though.

my daddy has a bigger car than your daddy ;)

anyway the thurth is that when ae has some good, some
mediocre and several bad releases, fsols all releases are
althogether better, although i havent heard the new thingy
and dead cities did not have THE effect... anyway i like
especially older fsol which is, i bet, quite far from their
new stuff (same with ae too, i just like old stuff better)

the new Ae is so ahead of all other music though.

The new one(Draft7.30) is going to blow everyone's socks
off.

I know it's really wierd and abstract but
it's from another dimension....

a nice, furry dimension where music is
made by angels and sound is God.

eat hallucinogens and listen to Confield,
that reveals the essence of what their music is about right
now.

^a suggestion for everyone.

" eat hallucinogens and listen to Confield ".....

What a suggestion...I myself have done it and agree, you
will NEVER think of Confield the same.

heh, well i ate hallucinogens and listened to fsol many
times before i even knew of new ae, so maybe thats why i dig
them :)

try the song 'among myselves' on acid. that is SCARY.

music is so much more deep then any of us ever realize,
untill we go the next step and mess our minds with crazy
things like LSD or meditation.

then we can see and hear and feel things
as they really are.

music does enough for me without having to experiment with
drugs. i do experiment with cancer patients though and
they're much harder to choke down.

Ae are on "drugs".

and they seem to be on top of things within the exciting
world of music.

I don't use anything at the moment though, don't want to
right now.

meditation is just as effective and better
for you.

i'd have to say, that FSOL and Autechre aren't even in the
same league... but that's just me

as far as autechre being the end all, be all... well i have
to say the Confield is probably the most forward album
released to date...
but they probably aren't my favourite musical entity in more
circumstances than other artists...

Both Autechre and FSOL are AMAZING bands!!!!! I love them
both (AE a little more but dunno). FSOLs new one (the
isness) is a pure masterpiece!! and its even better on pot
;)

I think yall should take it easy when it comes to LCD, its
just too strong take something softer like pot or something
it stimulates your brain cells ;) (yeah right) and makes the
music even better.

another dimension is not just one new universe. it's
AExistential or whatever any of us dream of.
it's true that AE are not "here" anymore. But hey, you don't
need to believe they are gods, because it's not neanderthal
anymore.
monkeys believed they have a GOD and that'all.
What about infinity?
