I will definetly download it. and if it's truely worth it I'll buy it maybe. I only buy cd's that are truely worth 15 or more dollars. Few cd's are. And if a record company insists on charging too much then I'll insist on finding other means of getting my music. |

since this is somewhat in within all the ethics (ha) of downloading music and buying music, i just thought i'd say (in case some people didn't know) that cds prices have gone up (along with vhs, dvds) because of music piracy. now i like to listen to something before i buy it and file sharing is a great way to do that. i only burn a cd if i can't find it anywhere and when i do find it i buy it. you see, when mp3s and such first became popular records labels or whoever filed to raise their prices based on the piracy. along similar terms with vhs (although somewhat outdated now) the makers of vhs movies have calculated a few copies into their selling price. well this really isn't anything all that important because i'm not trying to start some debate on piracy because it's been done. (and if i must, here's an aspect that no one takes. music is not something people should make living off of) well, try to buy your music if you can, it's leisure and fun don't steal it. |
