I wouldn't. Blink 182 know their role as dumbass punks, and they play it well. They don't pretend to be something they're not, and I respect them for that. They're bad. They know it, they get the joke. And they're taking advantage of stupid kids, I'd do the same. Linkin Park, on the other hand, think they're hardcore, and their hokey, ''deep'' lyrics reeeeallly piss me off and rub me the wrong way. The Backstreet Boys are better, they know their role. But Avril Lavigne is in the same category as Linkin... pop crap masquerading as something hardcore and rebellious and... ugh. |
