This is for everyone who likes the band Air. I was
wondering if there are any bands that anyone would recommend
if someone liked Air. I'm checking it out for a friend who
asked me the same question.

Air is pretty unique hard to find any other band that
compares to them, but i heard someone tell me of a band
called space thats pretty similar.

"les rythems digitale" for some more different french
electronica

air is unique. nothing is like air.

but, i suggest you try these lovely already suggested
sounds: fantastic planet soundtrack for more hmm...
avantgardish stuff and les rhytmes digitales for the french
sound, although les rhytmes digitales is totally different
:) i have liberation by then and its 2x10"! is there a
cooler size? i think not.

Hmmm. The DJ Kicks Album by the Thievery Corporation has
this style. The American Beauty Soundtrack by Thomas Newman
isnt exactly that style but it sets a similar mood.

hmm, what are you looking for
more like 10.000 hz legend or moon safari stuff?

hmm, here are some alike moon safari:
-beth hirsch (she did the vocals for moon safari as you
probably knnow), her stuff is actually more acoustic but i
find it kind of alike air, i like "early days"and "titles &
idols"
-morcheeba, albums "who can you trust" and big calm
-blue states, "man mountain"
-bonobo, "animal magic"
-kid loco, "a grand love story"

more like 10.000 hz:
-fila brazillia, "brazilification","maim that tune","power
clown", "jump leads"
-baby mammoth, "best foot forward"
-flanger, "templates","midnight sound"
-howie b, "snatch"
-sofa surfers, "transit", "cargo"
-truby trio, "dj kicks"
