aphex twin's new single?

i was never a great fan of apehx twin, but radio one was on
the other night, dont remember when, and the (female) dj
played a tune that she later announced as aphex twin's new
one, but im bggrd if i can remember what she said it was
called.. it sounds like a cross between "frank traxx -
nebuchan" and "orbital - halcyon+on+on" - no vocals, but
take nebuchan's main melody and soften it off in halcyon
style, and you get something close to what im asking about.
anyone help me with the title?
tia

Sounds like she didn't know what the fuck she was talking
about. I don't know about any new Aphex single.

lol, how do you know what it sounded like?

I just phoned a friend and aparently it was a remix of
polynomial-c (his words I haven't heard it) and it was on
the breezeblock show. So I went a looking and low and
behold there it was on the 14/01/03. Strange thing is
though the lable is listed as DMC.

Here we are!

I heard Polynomial-C the other night on Radio 1, something
about The Orb's All Back to Mine Compilation.

the other thing i gotta ask, is.. is it polynomial c, or
polynomiNal c? note the extra N on the radio 1 website..

xammax: is that All Back to Mine as in the chill-out series
Back to Mine (where they get big name DJs in one time to do
a mix of what they would spin for friends after a night
out.. names like Morcheeba, Faithless, EBTG, MJ COle, Nick
Warren and Talvin Singh have appeared in the series
already..)

if this is mary anne hobbs she is a big fool. last year she
played aphex twin's new single "come to daddy" white label
at the wrong speed ALL the way through. she does like a
drink btw.

maybe she said "aphex twin's new single" only to attract the
listeners... if she said "an old aphex twin track" maybe it
would have been less attractive...

Well did anyone listen to the broadcast? You can relisten to
the show. Someone has to listen to it and tell me if its
legit, and then record it. and then send it to me. yarrrr...

I wouldn't worry, the dumb cunt on the radio got the name
wrong. It's just the Usual Polynomial-C. She thinks it's
new because it's goiong to be on the Orbs next release on
DMC records.

Did you make that!? Damn thats some nice diging.

I dont see how people could misinterpret what she said
unless there is no DMC. What the hell is DMC Recordings
anyway?

No idea. There was a DMC car company once. They made
DeLoreans. Awesome cars. The dumb can't couldn't even get
the name of he song right, unless thats the way the orb has
it listed on the upcoming compilation.

No, mary anne played polynomial C, from the NEW compilation
'The Orbs all back to mine'. Same old (great) track not a
remix or anything.

sorry no such word. you mean polynomial. obviously she never
did higher maths! mary anne hobbs sucks. she thinks she so
good but shes not-kinda like quite a few djs on radio 1,
excluding john peel.
