No one mentioned Ae's remix of Slowly - On The Loose (For Internal Use Only). What a badass hypnosis session that track is. It's the fourth track on Autechre's Radio Mix (which have some other top mixes), which you can easily find on .mp3. Happy hunting! |

Haven't listened to any Autechre remix. I'm not even into Carl Craig's lauded modifications. I only like remixes when they accomplish something entirely different from the original — destructions rather than reconstructions. The classic is of course 26 Mixes For Cash, but my favourite is the more radical, sensible and honest '94 album Auteurs vs µ-Ziq. |
