NOT DATED AT ALL!

First two tracks are one of my favourite moments in music
(of all times)

I am not the kind of autechre fan that only likes the early
stuff, confield is in fact my favourite album by them... and
I tend to listen more to the newest albums, but I still love
incunabula and amber.

I am right now with it and is still amazing in my heart and
brain... and I just remembered how we use to say its a bit
dated, well... now I dont think so... its great music
forever

Well, it shows its age with the drum machine beats they use,
but that doesn't bother me. It's flaws are far outweighed
by the construction and execution of tracks like "Bike",
"Eggshell", "Basscadet", "Windwind" and "444". A classic
album by any standards.

:)

a building its not dated (in its space concept) for using
bricks or its not cutting edge for using titanium...

what makes a building old or modern is the space conception,
the way the inside spaces are related ones to others... ther
you can see the convencionalism, the modernism, the
experimentalism of it.

same with music
maybe incunabula uses bricks, but the concept is not dated
at all

It's a great album. It's definetly got a place in my heart,
dated or not, it's just so sweet. Kalpol Introl-Bike is one
of the best first album-opener ever. It's like hello, we're
autechre, and you'd better get used to it, cause this is
just the beginning...

one cool critic called Lowride 'downright embarrasing'... I
say he was just being infantile.

Yeah, I've heard people bash that song, but ah well, it's
actually my favorite song by AE.

The most common complaint I hear is about the cowbells.

oh, that's pathetic. I mean, complaining about cowbells.
Check out Confield, it's all based on 'em! ... jk
