Just tried Rhubarb...

Saw some rhubarb in the grocery store today and picked it
up, thinking of the picture in the SAWII booklet, and of our
hero who probably eats it regularly in the winter.

I had it with ice cream and it was ABSOLUTELY yummy! It was
strange to see rhubarb looking so much like a celery stick.

I'm going to have some with my breakfast tomorrow...

Feels and looks yukky, but the taste...amazing!!

And neetta: I wonder if Gaz and Brian from FSOL eat it
too??

We get a different type of rhubarb here, its not the same. I
would try it if I could find it. I hate celery though, I
only eat it with ranch dressing.

Rhubarb is comparable to a really sweet white wine
delicately mixed with a handful of ripe raspberries...goes
great with custard or ice-cream.

Aren't the leaves of rhubarb meant to be poisonous? (you
only eat the stalks)

my grandparents (where i spent much time growing up) have
rhubarb ever since i can remember.
it always fascinated me, cause it grows so strange and has
those strange colours.
i never liked it as a child, but now i really go for it,
especially in a pie ><
gotta try with ice.. .i sweet Ö and sour
yummy
