now that neetta has opened some topic about books it comes
natural to ask about the movies people on the board
prefere....

i like very much tarantino´s movies....especially four
rooms, that for some strange reason is not so
famous....mah...
pulp fiction of course....and also natural born killers need
to be mentioned....and also a clockwork orange...a
classic!!!
:)

not exactly the first topic about this subject, but still...
some of my favourites are: le fabuleux destin d'amélie
poulain
, the piano, la vita è bella,
il postino, as good as it gets, fight
club
, american beauty... but people never take my
taste in movies seriously, because i can also enjoy the
biggest piece of hollywood-crap, hehe... like Titanic or
Godzilla :-p Nothing really intelligent or thought-provoking
in those movies, but i still honestly enjoyed them lots!

"belive me, understanding his dialet it makes it 1000
times cooler!!
"

He :-)
I'm sure! That must be awesome. I thought alot of the humor
was already very clever... to be able to understand the
original dialogue must be... well... heavenly!

But it's really one of the best movies i've ever seen...
probably the only one that has made me laugh out loud,
and cry.

also horror movies like Evil Dead and Texas Chainsaw
Massacre
also stuff like This is Spinal tap and Withnail and I,
Mallrats, old Chevy Chase & Bill Murray etc

and tarantino, he's great. I hope Kill Bill is good... A
Tarantino western... I think it'll be a bloodbath. heh

"i have cried olso...:)"

I think very few people will be able to keep their eyes dry
after that ending...

Jesus... i was watching it with my whole family, and we were
all sobbing... haha :-)

I think the combination of comedy and sadness works
amazingly well! It's like the funny parts make the sad parts
even more sad and vice versa. It has made a much deeper
impact on me than Schindlers List because of that. (even
though i like that one too :-))

Haven't seen (or heard about) that movie Fridà yet. I'll
try to find out if it's showing over here :-)

I watched "La vita e bella" in cinema together with a friend
who started laughing at those places where the audience was
supposed to cry
