I've just had a thought......

Reznor has said in an interview somewhere that ATR is the
only band that he truely respects (or something like that),
and from what's been said about the new NIN album (that
there's going to be less guitars, more synths) I reckon for
the next tour it'd be fucking great to have ATR supporting
NIN

heh, the thing is that NIN would have to go back to the days
of Broken to get the raw power of the music to get anywhere
close to the edge of ATR

i'm not dissing The Fragile or Things Falling Apart, but if
Reznor went on tour with ATR spouting out stuff similar to
THe Fragile era, i don't think it would be well recieved
after ATR

Reznor would definately have to go back to the dark old days

nin is a shortage for Nine Inch Nanny

Nine Inch Nanny is an amazing artist, her real name is
Joyce, and her inspirations come from such artists as Elvis
Costello, Neil Diamond, and The Bay City Rollers

as with most old people, they're quite small due to
shrinkage with age, hence the nickname from her
grandchildren "Nine Inch Nanny" and when she decided to make
music, she thought that was a "lovely" name

oschillik, ATR opened for NIN's fragility 1.0 tour in europe
in 1999. ATR will never open for NIN again because carl
crack is dead and hanin elias and alec empire are not on
speaking terms. also, trent never said ATR is the only band
he respects.

"hanin elias and alec empire are not on
speaking terms"

where did you hear this?

latest interview i've read... don't know the exact date, but
after I&S came out... alec has this to say about ATR:

"Q: Finally, what is happening with Atari Teenage Riot?
A: At the beginning of 2000 after we finished touring we
said were not going to release an album every two years,
were going to do it every three years. So 2003 is that third
year so were going to come together and discuss what we
should do. "

several interviews w/ alec plus the DHR web site mention
internal strife, and seeing as how nic endo and alec are
still collaborating, and carl crack is dead, it's pretty
easy to surmise who the person who let "stardom get to their
head" is.

i'm not sure, but i think atari teenage riot was thanked in
the credits for 'and all that could have been' (NIN
live)...

didn't the singer from ATR die? ' _ '

I am soo sad that Carl Crack died.......

:*(

Trent said that he really liked ATR he didnt say its the
only thing he liked. ATR is really great. I hope they all
get together and pull out some next level shit for their
next album
