We used to have a Tetrinet group in the soulseek .nu room...
maybe you can get a few people on here to assist you in your
addiction :D

i play tetris on my TI-83 (calculator) when i'm in the
train... i think i have a score of 1700 or something like
that (you get 1 point by piece dropped, 10 points for lines
- unfortunately you don't get any extra points if you
complete several lines at the same time...).

Anyone played "Fortress" on the GBA? The only Tetris version
apart from original tetris that I like. It's a hybrid of
tetris and ramparts. Absolutely great for 2 player link up.

Yeppers.

I must have like 5 tetris clones for the amiga if not more,
Arcade and Trad. I have a few for the PC also. I even had it
for my ZX Spectrum. :)

skyfarmer > of course!
Alexei Pajitnov.

i have a n64 puzzle game called 'tetrisphere', in which he
collaborated, too... a good 3-d puzzle game - with, unlike
usual with puzzle games, nice graphics and good music :)

It sucks- the commie govt. took most of the profits of
Tetris- poor Alexei.

I still have Tetris for my Nes. Identical to GB version, but
in colour (and what awful colours they are too!) and some of
the tracks are different. Great game though.

BTW- Any of you guys heard about that research paper that
details why tetris is so damned hard? I can't remember the
mathematical name for it, but basically it's a problem for
which no algorithm can be made that would definately keep
you alive in the game...

Well, when I checked last time, Alexei was working for
Microsoft, so he's not really too poor :)

You all gotta check out Biprolex+. It's a great game by
Russian developers, containing Tetris and Arcanoid on ONE
FIELD, confrontating each other in many ways. Check it out!
