The Mollusk, one of the greatest albums of all fucking
time. The last song makes me cry.

I really like GodWeenSatan and Pure Guava, possibly the
greatest and most improbable major label debut ever.

I'm listening to Pure Guava now. How the hell were they
signed to a major? My second favorite. You know what? I
really love 12 Country Greats. Beautiful.

Damned if I know ... Elektra's A&R rep must have been on
shrooms.

New album is coming out sometime soon. I like White
Pepper, not as great as some, but better than most stuff out
recently. Terrific opening songs. Good drinking album.

Look at facial motion of the the woman on the far right,
second row in, and the one behind her. Amazing. Actually
there are loads of mesmerising "head loops" in there. It's a
great picture.

further on in the picture there's a man looking to his right
(left for us), at his wife, who's making the most delightful
headbobbing gesture, perhaps reminding us of a motion more
commonly associated with fellatio.

Ha ha, and the guy 3rd from the right has a perfectly
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
motionless head... he's just going A" forever.

the woman completely left, on the third row, is having the
same experience!

they complement each other lovely.

i'd say that the mollusk and 12 golden... are the two most
perfect ween albums all-around. not a weak song on either
one.

definitely check out Quebec, their newest album. it's MUCH
better than white pepper! it's excellent.

Chocolate and Cheese is probably my favorite, but I honestly
love every record they've ever put out. The Mollusk was my
favorite for a while, but I think C&C is weirder without
going too far over the edge (like The Pod). Flawless

offline r40f from qrters tea party on 2004-07-16 10:36 [#01278081]

i have all their albums - i love them all for different
reasons...

even though chocolate+cheese has a lot of great songs on it,
i prefer the pod. i like the lo-fi, dark feeling of it.

The Pod is awesome. I only have it and Pure Guava. Any
other albums of theirs similar to the Pod?

Pure Guava is probably the most similar to The Pod. Their
first album God Ween Satan is bizarrely awesome too, but
less lo-fi. Still amazing though.

Yeah, I really love Quebec. It took me a really long time
to get into though. Really depressing for a Ween album.
