stab314/RQ from belarus on 2001-09-15 10:21 [#00032134]

RandomajestiQ is techno ambient project which was started in
1998 by Stab314 and Junk. Mainly we compose emotional
soundscapes experementing with ambient samples and harmony.
Other side of the project is chillout-dancefloor-oriented
Intelligent Dance Music (IDM). RQ doesn't play any
commercial and all its stuff absolutely free for everyone.

08.09.2001
2 new singles: S314OVERBURN [ featuring scratchy rythm
inspired by Aphex Twin and a bit
depressive harmony ]; SPIRAL INTERLOCK [ moody IDM with
very specific structure ]

we need your reviews and comments, please!!

Nudey Stab on 2001-09-15 10:31 [#00032136]

My comments and reviews? Well, I would never listen to
someone called "Stab," and out of choice too. And I'll just
assume some of your songs are called "I Stab People," "King
Stab And Death," and "Killer Stab."

Nudey Stab on 2001-09-15 10:32 [#00032137]

And following up with "sorry, I meant intelligent comments
and reviews" wont work.

404... kind of cool if you want an old schoolish sound in
their music, but its a pain in the ass on a website.

stab314/RQ from belarus on 2001-09-15 16:27 [#00032208]

ufff... why are you so wicked? hate musicians? i just
looking for some community with techno people, but what i
get here? ...crowd of agressive people who have nothing to
say about the music.... :((

Monkey on 2001-09-15 16:29 [#00032210]

I love music. I love making music and I love hearing it. But
I got a bunch of 404 warnings from the liniks on the first
site. I hate it when people give non-constructive
criticism... so I didn't mean your music. I haven't been
able to listen to it yet, actually.

stab314/RQ from belarus on 2001-09-15 16:34 [#00032211]

ok. maybe somthing wrong with ru-net... try here:
www.mp3.com/randomajestiq
i'd like to discuss what did you like and what didnt in our
sond.

thank you

Chow Wong on 2001-09-15 16:48 [#00032212]

No one will really tell you what they think about your
music. They'll just say "yeah that's good."

stab314/RQ from belarus on 2001-09-15 16:54 [#00032214]

i have 15 reviews at the moment, and that's all i need to
get expirience for next track... did you say "here"?

I like that quote, I think it has changed my life.

stab314/RQ from belarus on 2001-09-15 19:36 [#00032242]

so what about the topic?

Jay on 2001-09-15 19:40 [#00032245]

support. one more time thank you. and again: thank you.
rip. :((((((

Bobby McLungCancer on 2001-09-15 20:46 [#00032274]

Stab, no one has to listen to your music but everyone has to
reply to your topic, it's the rules.

Bobby McLungCancer on 2001-09-15 20:48 [#00032275]

I did listen to one song but I doubt you'd want to hear what
I really thought of it. I'm sure most people just
don't want to offend you or crush your squirrel
spirits.

stab314/RQ from belarus on 2001-09-15 20:54 [#00032277]

why not? i come here to know your opinion and know what's
wrong and what's allright with our songs. but all i can see
is few guys talking about everything but not the music.

Loudon on 2001-09-15 21:00 [#00032282]

Ok, your music is bland, inane, and, to get straight to the
point, complete shit. The only difference between your
"music" and that of, say, Spice Girls or Sash is your music
is shitter. That's my review of your shit.

Loudon on 2001-09-15 21:01 [#00032283]

But don't give up, stick to your dream until you're sucking
dick for happy meals.

stab314/RQ from belarus on 2001-09-15 21:06 [#00032284]

Like wow! Your music has, like, totally changed my life
Like, yeah, it's like the most amazing music I've ever

You must like be the most amazingly intelligent person ever.
Like, your soul, must like so totally twisted. Like
totally full of angst. Like, yeah.

I just have to meet you, like,

What the fuck's up with Romeo?

Tucker from uk on 2001-09-16 03:33 [#00032367]

like this and like that and der, repeat over

Quoth from Berlin on 2001-09-16 04:52 [#00032386]

Stab: why do you want to know my opinions? i ask this,
because as an artist myself trying to respect others, it
would be completely stupid of you to ask for peoples
opinions and get all pissed off at them for just fucking
around with you. have a patient soul. make whatever kind of
music YOU WANT TO MAKE. if you don't like what they say...
tell them to fuck off. but then again, if you're a dumb ass
and say it wrong, they're going to tell their mommy and get
all defensive about it. point is... don't ask, just post
where to get your music. if they like it enough that they
remember something intriguing about the music itself,
they'll post effective comments.

Mrs. Crabapple's apple's worm's sunglasses on 2001-09-16 07:09 [#00032404]

Hmm... Music is created in time and time is a one
dimensional linear line that goes in one direction only. You
can play recorded vcr tapes in reverse, but as you play them
in reverse, real time is going forward, merely the frames
are in reverse order. Music is defined as organized sound.
The more organized the more interesting it is. If you fill
short amounts of time with the most "actions" possible, the
most entertaining results occur as squarepusher demonstrated
quite a few times. I think aphex was inspired by
squarepusher, used this concept in his own much better way
with more interesting melodies and sounds, leaving the stale
drum sounds. You need a lot of interesting actions in time.
You can't rely only on speed though, since you can take any
fast song and slow it down. It must be organized in some
meaningful fashion in some sort of intelligent or logical
direction, or even unintelligent and illogical, as long as
it was intended... Your music could use more actions in time
and more interesting constructions.

Fluffy on 2001-09-16 08:49 [#00032440]

But that Stab guy's music is bad, he told me to listen to
the song "Slow Crunch," and said it was his best. I just
forgot about the dumbness of the song's name and listened to
it and it's not very good, it's pretty bad actually, that's
my honest review, it came from the heart.

Stab, I hope this helps you in making music that other
people like as opposed to what you like.

Fluffy on 2001-09-16 08:50 [#00032441]

Stab, you'll be on your way to pop stardom in no time.

stab314/RQ from belarus on 2001-09-16 09:29 [#00032454]

2Quoth: i ask because i really interested in your opinion. i
didn't tell anyone we are best or something like that. we
have some reviews from garageband.com but it's not so
objective i think. anyway that was not the worst idea to
pay peoples' attention. im not disappointed.

Loudon Wainwright on 2001-09-17 04:52 [#00032768]

I went to your shit site then and you took my review down.
It's ok, I don't want to be associated with dead skunks and
shit anyway.

My professional opinion? YOU SUCK!

Boris on 2001-09-17 05:12 [#00032804]

Doogie Hoswer, as a kid, I used to watch your show and
consider it quality adult drama.

I saw you in Battle Field Earth. I said "Whooooza Doogie."

Boris on 2001-09-17 05:13 [#00032807]

I didn't really say "whooooza doogie." I think you're doing
great work for Canadia, you're really taking them places.
