Is anyone into tha scene?.. What do you think about its current pop-leaders (Farbrausch, Haujobb, etc)? It all seems to have nothing to do with the demoscene there used to be ten years ago... Everything is getting hardware-based, I guess it's not much a good thing, to think of the time when ppl got the same technology level on much weaker Amiga resources, and coding really was art. But looking at the achievements... Bnargey!

I read recently of a DVD full of old-skool demos; should be pretty damn cool, as most were stunning (better than most modern graphics in many ways)...
I'll see what I can dig up link wise....

Wow! A DVD... That'd be really really worth it. Ha, I've got an idea: let them make a DVD full of 16-byte demos. Or well, not demos, how do you call the things in 16b? Or even 7b. Crazy stuff.
