what from me on 2001-09-12 05:43 [#00030948]

this is so big people its bigger than any of us... this is
just too much to take in right now... the death toll is
larger than anything we as a people have ever witnessed this
is going to change the way the world runs for ever... EVER
and EVER!!!

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-09-12 05:55 [#00030950]

uhhhh.......... no man. nazi's were killing 12000 jews a
day.

that's a higher death toll than we're going to get most
likely. the world has had worse tragedys. what about
hiroshima? how many died there? 60,000? that was immediate.
after radiation how much?

it's awful. but not the worst thing that's ever happened.

what from me on 2001-09-12 06:03 [#00030958]

this is the worst thing that has ever happened to the
world..
ever... Hiroshima wasnt an act of terrorism, but war, the
Jews were killed through a period of six or more years, this
all happened in an hour.. this is the most terrible thing
that has ever happened ever.

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-09-12 06:07 [#00030961]

being serious?

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-09-12 06:24 [#00030964]

Yes Jurasic Park was a very poor film.

Human beings are idiots.

This was another 'big' incedent that people are going to say
that they witnessed, and they will talk about it like it was
a catastrophic event that brought them closer to death than
ever before (even tho the were watching it on tv from a
totally different point on the earth).

Guest: I agree and disagree.

Watching people jump off of the WTC kinda makes you think
about your own mortallity a bit and also frightens many.

I'll also just add that Stalin Killed more people than
Hitler Killed Jews

I hope v5 comes with login/passwords, that way I can
recognize people like "what" who made that post. It would
be much easier to know what posts not to read because they
are made by idiots, sort of like a filing system. I was
watching it in person, and I'm not about to say this is the
worst tragedy I've even lived through, much less "we as a
people have ever seen".

WizTeeth you didn't like Jurrassic park? C'mon!

Barrett, Syd from Toronto on 2001-09-12 19:55 [#00031086]

jurrassic park was fantastic. so was 2 and 3. tho not
everyone agrees on that, how could you not like the first
one?

JP1 Was my favorite movie of all time when it came out,
although I was...12(?) when it came out...('96?). The
special effects were the singular best effects of any movie
of its time. The first movie to do this was the original
star wars. Star Wars changed the meaning of movie special
effects, and JP did that too, although not in such an
unprecendented way.

You are right about 2, not everyone agrees. I think 2 was
pretty much shite, the special effects were amazing, but
they seemed to entirely forget to touch upon a few small
things like

plot
characters
storyline

After that, maybe it was because I had grown up a bit, I
just skipped the third one. Although I heard the old guy
from the first one is back, he's my fave.

Always fascinating how these threads travel around.

THIS IS THE GREATEST TRAGEDY OF OUR LIFETIMES!

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF JURASSIC PARK THE MOVIE?

The first bomb in Hiroshima killed 78000 and the second bomb
in nagasaki killed 36000 three days later. Why dropp a second
bomb i wonder when japan was about to give up before the

What is even more tragic is the fact that Russia murdered
millions of Armenians during World War I, yet America turned
a blind eye to that simply because they were on our side.

But what's funny is the fact that Palestinians are
celebrating this.... maybe they will make it a holiday --
FUCK AMERICANS DAY.

thanksomuch from over yonder on 2001-09-12 21:39 [#00031128]

barret, stalin killed more of his own people then hitler
ever killed of his own, jweish, or other wise....
