There was somehting mentioned in one of the interviews. I
seem to recall he was making a ton of stuff that he wouldn't
reckon anyone would like and was very experimental even for
him. That's about it really. Oh and there was also some
stuff about already having enough money so he would
eventually just stop. The stuff that AFX sells on CD and
tons of people here rave about, as Richard said once, isn't
his favourite stuff. It's all about selling what would
probably sell better in what he has made. In other words the
stuff that we listen to and love, in relation to all of the
unreleased stuff, may be pretty comercial. That's why I
guess everyone raves about his live sessions so much,
doesn't really give a fuck he's just up there to enjoy
himself.

i imagine that he's up to something seeing that he's been
busy (not being able to make it to coachella, doing magazine
articles and what not)

I could be going out on a limb here, but, I recon that AFX
has made such a reputation for himself now that he could
release the sound of a drumkit falling down the stairs and
crushing a cat (im sure hes done this already) and people
would lap it up and call it
genius....................hmmmm...i might do it.

that's very true. You seen that article about him putting
sandpaper in a food blender and switching it on. Everyone
said it was an incredible sound but he was just fucking
about, I tried it in my boarding house, beleive me, people
weren't pleased.
