I know love all bogdan's music but this album was my first exposure to his crazy world of wicked breaks, schizo beats, fast drum and bass and insane fuckin' lyrics. mmmm firm those buttocks with some mathmatics! Trust me, you won't regret buying this album. |

ps has anyone heard his new album yet? I got it two weeks ago from a second hand shop in Manchester, England called Vinyl Exchange. God knows how or why they had it because its not a promo. There are no track titles unlike on the recent single- just myloveilove written 17 times. the album is amazingly reserved and calm and washes over you. it maintains a similar feel throughout so, i guess, thats why he has dispensed with track titles. only on the second track are there any beats to speak of but don't let that put you off. it really is a beautiful album- warm, soulful lyrics and soft, layered sounds. Saying that, if you really hated the single, you won't like it at all. I found it quite strange that the first track off the single is also the last track off the album. Bogdan must really have been in love with someone special when he wrote this because it is obviously a personal record. you've gotta respect someone who has the confidence to release an album like this which will surely alienate his fans who were expecting the next stage in hyper speed bogdan madness. |
