I have to listen to it sparingly. The black mood gets to me,
whoa. After listening to it all the way through I have to
snuggle my puddy tat and listen to the new Max Tundra, which
I bought at the same time and coincidentally is the perfect
antidote.

sepix: i was going to say that this is probably the most
talked about album since do you know squarepusher :P

anyone else notice that the bass drum in tattoo during the
vocals sounds like it was sampled from the carnival night
zone (4th zone) from sonic 3?

2 upcoming releases on hymen:
nymphomatriarch: collaboration between snares and hecate,
made entirely of sex sounds
find candace: from the looks of it, a doll doll doll
b-sides/out take album.

and doll doll doll came out on hymen records

"i realized that if my body broke i would break into
blossom"

i'm listening to thi planet mu medley and lovin it... i
thought i hated vsnares. is this his best work, or was i
just smoking crack? oh yes, and, is the above quote
garrison keillor? sounds exactly like him. last man i
would expect to hear on this album.

yeah Mickey it's a BANF album..the correct mix of YERG and
BANF..very complex and yet strangely accessible..(the exact
balance I keep, yearining to estlabish in my own music)..

and I have read you mention that you dug..Songs about My
cats..well it's got all the complex off kilter glitchy
rhythm work of that but with this amazingly coherent melodic
(some even vocalized) melodic work layerd on top of the
chaos

I do like the medley... I heard that, and its what got me to
buy the CD

i think the cd is boring because of the medley, have to try
it again

but you think this is the best snares then?, i think it's
pretty subtle and suckulant for the guy, from what ive
heard, from the samples

offline Zeus from San Francisco (United States) on 2004-05-23 15:00 [#01203157]

its the only CD i have by him... from what ive heard of the
other stuff, I dont really want to hear more. Im not big on
the insane drillnbass stuff.... this is nice and glitchy,
and stuff. I dunno.
