Underworld fans represent!

Born Slippy is one of my favorite all time songs.

Yay!

yeah thats what this live is

got to be the fattest thing ive heard in ages

the percussion has been hyped thru the roof, with heaps of
high end elements and the bass kick instead of being contant
just rumbles all the way thru with a sweeping bass synth
underneath

good ideas, good ideas :)

The European Club Gig (Munich 1996) mp3s floating around are
also top notch stuff.
I saw them a couple of weeks ago in Munich, it was mental.

Check underworldlive.com for a few pics. Click "On"

agreed. new album is rather dull & formulaic. just like
beaucoup fish.

its better than beaucoup fish,. but nowhere near as good as
dubno/stiti

but Luetin ownz, and can have my children

i quite liked beaucoup fish back in da days.

offline Refund from Melbourne (Australia) on 2002-12-11 22:24 [#00478274]

beaucoup is a fairly weak album as a whole,.. but some of
the tracks on it can stand on their own,.. underworld is
best not taken "as a whole" just concentrate on their good
tracks, and forget the bad ones

offline CORTEX from Canada on 2002-12-11 22:26 [#00478275]

i know it sounds pretentious, but since ive been into
autechre and most idm stuff, underworld et al. dont sound as
good as they used to...

offline Refund from Melbourne (Australia) on 2002-12-11 22:35 [#00478281]

stuff like beaucoup sounds horrible, but stiti and dubbno
are still 2 of the most innnovative "dance" releases ever
made

get "banstyle" or "dirty epic" if you haven't heard either
of them

the dark & long import is also a must have

includes thing in a book (20 minutes, no less), and other
weird versions of dark & long
