About the same here. I can enjoy Frank sinatra or 1982 , but I won't repeat those songs. they're too boring for playing all day. I saw her live on pukkelpop. Quite enjoyed the show, Especially her attitude and the parts in between the songs. She's a real entertainer. |

is good! it's a bit different from the style of 'Frank Sinatra' for example, she got more varied, now sings and not just talks in her mythic voice - there are some straightforward tracks too, it's a good thing - the tracks are varied, it goes from ironic songs ('Requiem For A Hit', featuring a rapper), stupid great ones ('Meet Sue Be She'... i'm playing this one on repeat, it's the most stupid and catchy one ^^), some serious naive ones, and even beautiful songs (!!) ('Happy Violentine', one of my favourites too)... - there is also a song in french, a cover from a french band i hate (Indochine) though, meh = / i have the promo version in mp3, i'd buy the version when it comes out but it's copy-protected and the copy-protection is almost "eating" the logo... well anyway if you like her, you can check it out. : ) |
